About the role#
The Disney Entertainment Television Publicity department manages communications for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, Disney Kids and Family, Freeform, Onyx Collective, FX, and 20th Television. As an intern, you will rotate through several of these brands to support publicity teams with ongoing projects and campaigns. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Burbank, California, running from late September or early October 2026 through January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Compile daily press clips, reviews, and raves.
- Monitor and research media coverage and entertainment news.
- Book talent travel and build detailed schedules and itineraries.
- Maintain and update press and media lists.
- Assist in developing publicity materials like press releases, loglines, and talking points.
- Support media pitching and outreach.
- Conduct research to identify relevant press opportunities and story angles.
- Provide on-site support at press days, screenings, junkets, and premieres.
- Participate in publicity brainstorms and contribute ideas for campaign development.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in publicity, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Skill in conducting research, identifying media opportunities, and synthesizing sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, or participation in a Disney program.
- You must be at least 18 years old and possess unrestricted work authorization.

Location & details#
- Location: Burbank, California.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends.
- Pay: $22.50 per hour.
- You are responsible for your own housing and transportation.
