About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to support the Strategic Sourcing department at Disneyland. You will assist with various projects and help implement sourcing strategies that align with business priorities. You may work with teams such as Design and Construction, Food and Beverage, Marketing, and Walt Disney Imagineering. The internship runs from January through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved quality, and better service.
- Act as a liaison between the Strategic Sourcing team and key clients.
- Support sourcing projects through data analysis and direct supplier interaction.
- Develop and implement eRFIs, eRFQs, eRFPs, and eAuctions.
- Conduct external market assessments and participate in supplier negotiations.
- Manage partner relationships and oversee contract implementations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- A professional, focused, and organized approach to work.
- Ability to maintain a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Anaheim, California.
- The internship is full-time for the duration of the program.
- Undergraduate pay is $23.00 per hour, and graduate student pay is $30.40 per hour.
- You must provide your own housing and transportation in the Anaheim area.
