About the role#
The Architecture and Facility Engineering Services division at the Disneyland Resort offers an internship for students to gain practical experience in their technical field. You will work with architects and engineers on projects ranging from minor building rehabs to the construction of new facilities. This role involves supporting teams across various areas, including attractions, maintenance, food service, merchandise, and entertainment.
What you'll do#
- Assist project engineers across civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical disciplines.
- Handle drafting and on-site as-built documentation.
- Coordinate designs with outside consultants.
- Perform field data collection and light production work.
- Support construction administration, commissioning, and project closeout documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in a Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited university.
- Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work various shifts as required by project needs.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $30.00 per hour for undergraduates and $35.00 per hour for graduate students.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and transportation in the Anaheim area. This position is on-site and does not offer sponsorship.
