About the role#
This internship offers the chance to support the Strategic Sourcing department at Disney Experiences. You will assist with projects involving Design and Construction, Facility and Operations Services, and Professional Services. The role runs from January to June 2027 and requires a full-time, in-person commitment of 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business priorities.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation regarding quality, service, and compliance.
- Act as a liaison between Strategic Sourcing and key clients to ensure efficient bidding, contracting, and award methods.
- Support sourcing projects through data analysis and supplier interface.
- Create and implement eRFIs, eRFQs, and eRFPs.
- Conduct external market assessments and participate in supplier negotiations.
- Manage partner and supplier relationships alongside contract implementations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong digital literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects.
- Professional, organized, and focused demeanor.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour for undergraduates and $30.40 per hour for graduate students.
- Requirements: Interns must provide their own housing and reliable transportation in the Anaheim area. You must also comply with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
