    About the role#

    The Disney Programs Communications team supports the experience of participants in Disney College, Culinary, and International Programs. This team manages brand reputation and shares information with incoming and current participants through internal and external platforms. This is a full-time, six-month internship running from January 2027 through June 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with a creative team to develop content that informs and inspires participants.
    • Create newsletters, emails, blog articles, and video content for various audiences.
    • Develop and publish content for social media channels, including brainstorming, pitching, filming, and editing.
    • Assist with administrative tasks and support participant events, arrivals, and program-related initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Current or previous participation in the Disney College Program.
    • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, or current participation in a Disney program.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and proofreading skills with a focus on detail.
    • Proficiency in Associated Press (AP) writing style and Microsoft Office.
    • Demonstrated experience in short-form and long-form writing.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite editing and design software.
    • A portfolio including writing samples and digital content links is required.
    • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information.
    • Junior or Senior status is preferred.
    • Experience using DSLR or Mirrorless photo and video equipment is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is preferred.
    • Previous experience with a college organization, internship, or club is preferred.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Winter Garden, Florida.
    • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some potential weekend or off-hour shifts.
    • Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
    • Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, possess unrestricted work authorization, and align with The Disney Look appearance guidelines. Interns must provide their own housing in the Orlando area and have reliable transportation.
