About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Zero Mile team, which is the regional concert promotion arm of AEG Presents in Atlanta. You will support the marketing team by working on show campaigns, social media strategy, and local grassroots efforts. This role offers insight into the full process of promoting live music, from initial show announcements to the day of the event.
What you'll do#
- Create and schedule social media content to promote upcoming shows.
- Manage street team activities, such as distributing promotional materials and talking with the local community.
- Assist the marketing team with daily administrative tasks and campaign organization.
- Execute grassroots marketing projects, including flyering and local outreach.
- Use Photoshop and other creative tools to resize and localize graphics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for marketing, entertainment, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in music and live entertainment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time, handle multiple tasks at once, and work independently.
- Familiarity with social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Basic skills in design tools such as Photoshop or Canva are a plus.
- Previous experience in concert promotion, venue marketing, or college music organizations is helpful.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Commitment: Minimum of 18 hours per week.
- Compensation: This position is paid at a rate of $17.10 to $18.90 per hour.
