    About the role#

    This internship offers the opportunity to join the Disney Live Entertainment team in Anaheim, California. You will support the development of lighting designs for parades, stage shows, and special events. This full-time position runs from January 2027 through June 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Support lighting designers through the technical and creative production process.
    • Produce documentation, design intent materials, and light plots.
    • Provide technical drawing support using Vectorworks and ConnectCAD.
    • Assist with design and technical research.
    • Partner with cross-functional groups, including safety, production, and facility teams.
    • Attend and contribute to department and project production meetings.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student in theater or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Vectorworks.
    • Knowledge of lighting technology and supporting equipment.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
    • A valid US driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
    • Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule and comply with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
    • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.

    • Pay: $22.00 per hour.
