Job Description: Job Posting Title:Disney Destinations Communications Intern, Spring 2027Req ID:10157944Job Description:About the Role & ProgramThe Disney Destinations Communications Intern is a member of our global Disney Destinations Sales, Strategy and Solutions team, supporting the portfolio of U.S. based Disney Destinations – Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions and Aulani – A Disney Resort & Spa.This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 - June 2027.What You Will DoThis role will support internal and third-party client communication initiatives from across the portfolio, local Cast engagement efforts, social media content creation and the day-to-day message distribution for operational updates. The selected candidate will assist with the development and implementation of communication strategies through writing and graphic design.Develop tactics to support communication strategies under the leadership of the Sales Communication & Integration Manager, including content developmentDesign engaging visuals for a variety of uses, such as digital signage, presentations and Cast recognition initiativesPhotography for use in print and electronic communicationsSupport communication distribution needs, including posting of content on external and internal sites, and handling mass email distributions for Cast and clientsCrafting creative and engaging social media content for Disney Travel Professional social media platformsProvide event support for Cast engagement initiativesRequired Qualifications & SkillsGraphic design experience and ability to share innovative and creative ideasStrong written/verbal communication and collaborative skillsProficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent proofreading/editing skills with keen attention to detailStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills while working independently or in a groupAbility to set priorities, yet remain flexible, concerning projects/assignmentsFlexible with work schedule including occasional weekends and holidaysPossess a valid US driver’s license and must have your own personal vehicle to get to/from on-site meetings and eventsPreferred QualificationsProficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesignExperience with video productionAbility to learn new software applications with an understanding of web-based CMSPrevious experience working in a professional office environmentStrong administrative skillsProficient in AP Style writing, grammar and punctuationAbility to remain calm under pressure and work under tight deadlinesRequired MaterialsIMPORTANT: An electronic online portfolio is required as part of this application process.
