About the role#
This internship at Popejoy Hall focuses on digital content creation and social media strategy. You will help promote events through creative storytelling and support our outreach efforts.
What you'll do#
- Create, schedule, and publish content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Capture photos and videos during live performances, events, and programs.
- Develop campaigns to increase engagement for upcoming shows and educational initiatives.
- Monitor current trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Write captions and short-form copy for social channels.
- Represent Popejoy Hall at outreach events and assist with poster distribution on campus and in the community.
What you'll need#
- An interest in social media strategy and digital content creation.
- Ability to capture and edit photo and video content.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current trends across major social platforms.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.

- This position is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
