About the role#
The University of New Mexico is hiring a Program Intern to support the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) at Global Santa Fe. This position is a paid, on-site opportunity for students with a Work-Study Award. It follows a rolling term schedule.
What you'll do#
- Draft proposals for IVLP programs.
- Research and reach out to outside organizations to arrange meetings that align with program goals.
- Communicate with external contacts by phone or email to schedule these meetings.
- Accompany international visitors to and from their scheduled meetings.
- Meet weekly with the program manager to review progress and receive new assignments.
What you'll need#
- You must have a current Work-Study Award to be eligible for this role.
- This position is suitable for students pursuing degrees in International Relations, Political Science, Communications, or Business Administration.
