About the role#
This position offers tier 1 customer support for campus applications like Opinio, Course Evaluations, and Qualtrics. You will work with a small team of 2-3 other support personnel to assist students, faculty, department chairs, and administrators. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, updating web pages, and assisting with campus-wide elections. You will also help with software testing and project tasks.
What you'll do#
- Provide reliable technical support via phone and email.
- Learn and manage applications including Qualtrics, EvaluationKIT, Esurvey, Opinio, and Scantron.
- Create and review technical documentation for various services.
- Communicate technical details clearly to users.
- Assist with software testing and project-based assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program at UNM, at least half-time (6 hours) for fall and spring semesters.
- If you are a Work Study student, you must meet satisfactory academic progress.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a strong work ethic.
- Organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and priorities.
- Ability to problem-solve within web applications and other information technologies.
- Preferred: Experience in customer service or a helpdesk role, intermediate skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, knowledge of Windows OS, and experience creating documentation.
Location & details#
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Modality: Hybrid, with mostly off-site work and some in-office commitments.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional weekend or off-hours work is required. Applicants are expected to be able to work up to 28 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling.
