About the role#
UNM Athletics hires Student Managers to support various programs including Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Equipment Room, and Video. This is a rolling, on-site position where you will assist with the daily operations, practices, and competitions of athletic teams.
What you'll do#
- Support daily team operations by managing equipment, laundry, and hydration setups.
- Maintain, organize, and inventory team equipment.
- Track statistics and operate the game or practice clock.
- Attend team meetings and assist with film analysis.
- Travel with teams to away games when required.
- Sit on the team bench or sidelines during competitions.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift items weighing 30 to 50 pounds.
- Availability to attend practices, competitions, and team-related activities, including evenings and weekends.
- Proof of State or Federal Work-Study eligibility.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Communications, or Kinesiology programs is preferred.
