About the role#
The Communications Intern supports the outreach and visibility of Jobs for America's Graduates - New Mexico (JAG-NM). You will work with the Communications Director to turn program activity into content that supports recruitment, employer engagement, and statewide awareness. This is a remote, paid, part-time position requiring 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Create and edit social media content.
- Write short-form content such as captions, highlights, and updates.
- Organize and refine content provided by program staff.
- Coordinate and schedule social media posts.
- Assist with the production of outreach materials like flyers, one-pagers, and digital content.
- Contribute to campaigns focused on events, internships, and employer engagement.
What you'll need#
- You must have a Work-Study Award to be eligible for this position.
- Strong professional communication and writing skills.
- Experience managing tasks within a team environment.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism, or English.
