About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Bloomington, Minnesota. The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You must be available to work on-site for the full duration of the program. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering analysis to predict how proposed designs behave and how they resolve technical problems.
- Participate in the development and understanding of customer requirements by working with marketing, service, and manufacturing teams.
- Coordinate with internal groups including the experimental shop, test engineering, CAE, cost accounting, sourcing, drafting, and technical publications.
- Work with vendors to select high-quality components for our applications.
- Provide verbal and written progress reports on your development projects and engineering analysis.
- Support the company Quality Policy by participating in quality initiatives and training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program at an ABET accredited university. Completion of junior-level coursework is preferred.
- A strong desire to learn and work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to stay organized while managing your tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with minimal direction.
