    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical engineering at our automation facility. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and debug custom robotic work cells and industrial automation systems. This program connects your academic foundation with real-world applications in advanced manufacturing. You will also participate in an Immersion Day at our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, early in the program. Travel expenses for this trip are covered.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop custom manufacturing equipment tailored to specific customer requirements.
    • Design and implement robotic systems for customer applications with a focus on automation.
    • Engineer robotic solutions to optimize internal manufacturing processes.
    • Conduct engineering analysis on mechanical designs to validate performance, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technologies.
    • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
    • Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Familiarity with OSHA, SDS, and ANSI (RIA) safety standards.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • A desire to work in a manufacturing environment.

    • Location: Bettendorf, IA.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May 25th to August 6th).
    • Modality: On-site, full-time.
