About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is hiring an Analytics Consultant intern for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, 10-week on-site internship based in Worcester, Massachusetts. You will work on business assignments that allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Explore past business performance through iterative data investigation to drive planning and solve business problems.
- Develop new insights into business performance using data and basic statistical methods.
- Access and obtain the data needed to perform various levels of analysis.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on a project focused on corporate philanthropy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced degree program, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and PowerBI, PowerApps, or Tableau.
- A working knowledge of basic statistical procedures and methods.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
