About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in broadcast sports journalism at LEX18 in Lexington, Kentucky. Interns will work alongside the sports team to cover local athletics, with a focus on Kentucky Wildcats coverage. This role is designed for students in Journalism or Communications fields looking to build skills in sports broadcasting.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to the broadcast sports journalism industry.
- Create content for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Shoot, write, and edit sports content.
- Develop professional skills based on the specific area of support.
- Perform assigned duties as required.
