About the role#
WTMJ is seeking a Digital News Intern for the summer of 2026. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, designed for individuals interested in digital storytelling and how news reaches audiences across multiple platforms.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to digital journalism and content creation.
- Perform duties related to digital news production and social media.
- Develop skills in web content management, digital storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Support the digital team with various projects and initiatives.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong desire to learn about digital journalism and the media industry.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Preferred majors include Journalism or Communications.
