    About the role#

    WTMJ is seeking a Digital News Intern for the summer of 2026. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, designed for individuals interested in digital storytelling and how news reaches audiences across multiple platforms.

    What you'll do#

    • Gain exposure to digital journalism and content creation.
    • Perform duties related to digital news production and social media.
    • Develop skills in web content management, digital storytelling, and audience engagement.
    • Support the digital team with various projects and initiatives.
    • Complete other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong desire to learn about digital journalism and the media industry.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team.
    • Ability to follow directions.
    • Preferred majors include Journalism or Communications.

    • Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Summer 2026.
    • Status: Part-time, paid internship.
