About the role#
The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking an intern for the KSBY station. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in the Santa Barbara-San Luis Obispo area. The position is designed to provide professional experience and industry knowledge through hands-on assignments.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to the media production industry.
- Develop professional skills relevant to your specific area of support.
- Complete daily job assignments to build organizational knowledge.
- Perform assigned duties as required by the team.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A strong desire to learn more about the media industry.
- The ability to follow directions accurately.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Preferred academic background in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
