About the role#
WTMJ is seeking a college student intern to support the production of two lifestyle programs, The Morning Blend and What's Brewing Wisconsin. This role provides hands-on experience in studio production, field work, and script writing. You will work directly with a team in the Milwaukee market to support the daily operations of these shows.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to the TV industry.
- Greet guests for the live program.
- Produce web content based on show segments.
- Develop skills specific to the production area you support.
- Perform assigned duties and other tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A strong desire to learn about the media industry.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Availability between 7:00am and 11:30am Central time, at least 2 or 3 days per week.
