About the role#
The Traveling Exhibits Program Intern gains experience in exhibit marketing and partner relations. You will help bring exhibits to venues across the country by building marketing materials, managing industry contacts, and designing communication tools for the team.
What you'll do#
- Create a biannual e-newsletter template and the first issue for venues and brand partners.
- Enter industry contacts and venue partners into the Tessitura database.
- Research, design, and produce a handout to advertise available exhibits during conference season.
- Build a venue marketing survey to assess which ad templates are used most.
- Develop a system to receive inbound assets for review and provide feedback to host venues.
- Create an operations and installation manual template.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework.
- A major or field of study in marketing, communications, or sales.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Previous work experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid internship located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The term is Winter 2027.
- This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15 hours per week.
