About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for guests while gaining practical retail business and leadership experience. Interns work closely with store management to learn operational, sales, and merchandising processes. This role requires a commitment to completing management training modules, providing regular progress reports, and taking ownership of specific product categories to drive sales and team performance.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
- Demonstrate products using deep knowledge and share that expertise with the team.
- Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals.
- Manage a specific product category by setting goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Perform operational tasks including cashiering, processing freight, maintaining visual displays, and ensuring store cleanliness.
- Complete leadership training, including orientation and recruitment modules.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university in a relevant field.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and maneuver up to 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
- No prior retail experience or training is required.
