About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on supporting store operations while building leadership skills. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand the retail business and contribute to the store mission of providing an enjoyable shopping experience for guests.
What you'll do#
- Perform daily sales, merchandising, and operational tasks such as cashiering, inventory display, and facility maintenance.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Complete core sections of the Buckle Management Manual, including Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing, and Hiring.
- Provide weekly progress updates and reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Develop core skills in recruiting, merchandising, and team leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university in a field like Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.

- Location: Lees Summit, Missouri.
- This is a paid, on-site, full-time internship with a rolling term.
