About the role#
Prairie View A&M University is hiring two Student Hourly Assistants for the Auxiliary Services department. This is a part-time position based on campus in Prairie View, Texas. The role involves daily administrative tasks and customer service support for the student center and related operations.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers at the front desk and over the phone.
- Create, organize, and maintain office documents, including scanning, copying, and filing.
- Take photos and issue ID cards for faculty, staff, and students.
- Monitor student washing facilities and the common lunch area.
- Support projects focused on improving auxiliary services.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Prairie View A&M University with at least nine graduate or six undergraduate credit hours.
- Good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- No prior work experience is required.
- Full-time enrollment status is preferred.

- This role is located on-site in Prairie View, Texas.
- Employment is part-time.
- This position is paid at $15.00 per hour.
