About the role#
This internship provides practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the supporting business functions. You will work alongside professionals to turn classroom learning into real-world experience, gaining insight into how technical decisions impact clients and the community. Interns participate in a nationwide cohort program with opportunities to share experiences with executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
- Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes.
- Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
- Receive mentorship from professionals committed to your growth.
- Learn safe field and laboratory practices, ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards, project management fundamentals, and effective client communication.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Interest in consulting and fieldwork.
- Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with company values.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
