About the role#
This internship provides practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the business functions that support these services. Interns contribute to real client projects, gain experience across service lines, and develop professional consulting skills with the guidance of a dedicated mentor. You will participate in a nationwide cohort program, share experiences with executive leadership, and prepare for a career in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
- Support active project work and observe how technical decisions impact clients and the community.
- Develop core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
- Receive mentorship from professionals focused on your professional growth.
- Learn about safe field and laboratory practices, technical standards, project management, and client communication.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical fields.
- Interest in consulting and fieldwork.
- Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with company values.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
