About the role#
This position is an opportunity to gain clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting. You will work alongside staff to provide care for patients of all ages, including those with high-risk conditions. This role requires a commitment of at least eight hours per week, with shifts available in 4, 8, 10, and 12-hour increments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in providing basic and intermediate nursing care to an assigned group of patients.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited school of nursing, specifically in your 3rd or 4th semester.
- Successful completion of a basic clinical skills lab.
- Current BLS certification (or completion within 3 months of employment).
