About the role#
The BD and Strategic Analysis Intern will support the business development team by monitoring global gaming and intellectual property markets. This role involves conducting research on content and consumer industries, including games, film, and drama, to help inform strategic investment decisions. You will assist management by providing documentation, case studies, and evaluations of potential partners and game studios.
What you'll do#
- Monitor the global game and IP market to identify emerging trends.
- Research and analyze investment trends within the content and consumer sectors.
- Prepare support documentation for strategic analysis, investment reviews, and case studies.
- Evaluate potential partners, game studios, and IP holders to assist management with business decisions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a university undergraduate or MBA student, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong business and data analysis skills.
- Excellent writing ability and the capacity to manage workstreams independently.
- Proficiency with AI tools and familiarity with AI workflow automation.
- Prior experience in consulting or strategy projects is preferred.
- A genuine passion for games and curiosity about the broader entertainment industry.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship with rolling terms.
- Locations: Palo Alto, CA; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA.
- The pay range is $24.81 to $42.70 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Interns are eligible for paid sick leave, up to 13 paid holidays, and enrollment in the company-sponsored medical plan.
