About the role#
This internship focuses on the research and development of Omni multimodal large models. You will work within the Technology Engineering Group to advance model capabilities, improve architectures, and solve technical bottlenecks using first principles.
What you'll do#
- Design and construct training data for multimodal large models.
- Conduct algorithm design and optimization across pre-training, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning.
- Analyze research challenges and identify performance bottlenecks to accelerate model iteration.
- Explore new paradigms for Omni-modal understanding and generation, including research into next-generation model architectures.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering (graduate degrees prioritized).
- Hands-on experience in large-scale multimodal data processing and high-quality data generation.
- A solid foundation in deep learning algorithms and practical experience in large model development.
- Proficiency in deep learning implementation details, including model tuning, CPU/GPU acceleration, and distributed training or inference optimization.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in Diffusion Models, Autoregressive Models, or cross-modal research.
- Participation in ACM or NOI competitions is highly valued.
Location & details#
- Location: Palo Alto, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly rate range of $28.27 to $60.00. Benefits include paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and eligibility for the company-sponsored medical plan.
