About the role#
TCOM, L.P. is hiring a Research Intern to join the team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work alongside a mentor and manager to complete projects and gain hands-on experience in the defense and space manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Analyze stratospheric balloon flight telemetry data.
- Complete assigned projects and provide regular updates to your team.
- Attend company-sponsored training, seminars, and events.
- Learn and promote the division quality management system based on ISO standards.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship.
- Follow company guiding principles and assist with related tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current college student or recent graduate in a relevant field of study.
- Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once without close supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify waste.
- Capacity to multitask and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Clear communication skills when working with peers and leadership.
