About the role#
TCOM, L.P. is hiring a Process Engineering Intern for a full-time, paid position in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is an on-site role for students currently pursuing a degree in engineering. You will work with a mentor and manager to complete specific projects and contribute to our manufacturing efforts.
What you'll do#
- Support the manufacturing of high altitude balloons and electronics.
- Manage assigned projects and provide regular updates to your team.
- Learn and apply the division quality management system based on ISO standards.
- Present your work at the end of the internship.
- Assist in other areas or perform similar tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Ability to multitask and handle several projects at once without close supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify waste.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer tasks.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
