    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern at TCOM, L.P., you will gain hands-on experience in the defense and space manufacturing industry. You will work on a dedicated project to learn our product development process while providing engineering support to our teams and customers. This role requires you to work both independently and as part of a team, while documenting your design and testing progress. You will finish your term by delivering a presentation on your work.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply your engineering skills to design efforts on an individual project.
    • Document design and testing phases throughout your project.
    • Provide engineering assistance on existing projects for internal teams or external customers.
    • Perform technical work and assist in other areas as needed.
    • Present your project outcomes at the end of your internship.
    • Follow the guiding principles of Aerostar.

    What you'll need#

    • At least 2 years of progress toward a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
    • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and leadership.
    • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects at once without close supervision.
    • Hands on experience in lab, manufacturing, or testing settings is highly desired.
    • Familiarity with Python, Matlab, or SolidWorks is a plus.
