    About the role#

    TCOM, L.P. is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for a paid, full-time, on-site role in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is a rolling internship where you will gain hands-on experience in the defense and space manufacturing sector.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the manufacturing of high altitude balloons and electronics.
    • Complete assigned projects and provide periodic status updates to managers and peers.
    • Work with your mentor and manager to ensure your internship goals are met.
    • Learn, promote, and improve the division quality management system according to ISO standards.
    • Deliver a presentation at the conclusion of your internship.
    • Assist in other areas or perform similar duties as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once without close supervision.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify waste.
    • Capacity to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
    • Clear communication skills when working with team members.
