About the role#
As an intern reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, you will work on projects across corporate responsibility, internal communications, and enterprise strategy. This role offers exposure to the energy sector and provides hands-on experience in how strategic projects are developed and implemented.
What you'll do#
- Play a key role in the final stages of creating and publishing the annual corporate responsibility report.
- Lead benchmarking efforts to compare corporate responsibility practices against industry peers.
- Assist with internal communications projects to help inform and engage employees.
- Support strategic planning and enterprise-wide initiatives through research, analysis, and project tracking.
- Manage and coordinate the internal Corporate Responsibility Council, including meeting preparation and material development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Communications, Public Health, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools.

- This is a full-time position based in Lakewood, Colorado.
- The role is offered as an on-site or hybrid opportunity.
- The internship term is scheduled for Summer 2027.
