About the role#
As an Information Governance intern, you will work with a team responsible for managing company information systems, physical and electronic records, and the Microsoft 365 environment. This role provides exposure to data governance and technology support in a professional setting. You will take on responsibilities similar to regular staff members to gain practical experience.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Assist end users with issues related to SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
- Index and categorize physical records and coordinate the retrieval and return of offsite boxes.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Microsoft Forms and Power Platform automations.
- Contribute to data governance efforts for structured and unstructured data.
- Assist with auditing system usage, storage, and site collections.
- Support company-wide shredding and scanning activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, or Communications, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Basic understanding or coursework in Microsoft 365 applications like SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Familiarity with concepts in data management, records management, or information systems.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

- Location: Lakewood, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, May through August).
