About the role#
This is a temporary, full-time internship within the Capital Project Assurance department at Tallgrass. You will support the Capital Project Assurance Director with the daily management of large capital projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia, and CO2 sequestration infrastructure. This role provides exposure to the decision-making processes behind project engineering and management.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of project execution strategies.
- Review project data and analytics to create tools for detailed design and execution.
- Audit third-party engineering deliverables and project management activities.
- Prepare project assurance reports and complete ad hoc tasks for the project team.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program for Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- An expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong math skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Houston, Texas.
- The internship runs for 10 weeks during Summer 2027, from May through August.
- This is a paid position.
