About the role#
This is a temporary full-time internship within the Project Management department at Tallgrass. You will work on-site in our Houston, Texas office for 10 weeks during the summer of 2027. This role focuses on supporting the Procurement Manager with the daily operations of a major capital project. You will gain exposure to project engineering decision-making and the fundamental tasks required to manage large-scale infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the Procurement Manager with day-to-day project tasks.
- Evaluate technical bids and proposals, including organizing bid tabulations.
- Review the data quality of third-party engineering deliverables.
- Assist in the creation of procurement processes and procedures.
- Maintain request logs and document meeting minutes.
- Catalog and archive vendor documentation.
- Prepare reports and complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master program for Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- An expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong math skills.
