About the role#
Taft College is hiring a Student Worker for the soccer program for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Taft, California.
What you'll do#
- Mow the infield grass and apron areas.
- Operate heavy machinery, including a John Deere ATV.
- Edge the grass and dirt borders.
- Drag and rake assigned areas before and after workouts and games.
- Set up the field for practice and game days.
- Keep the soccer storage area clean and organized.
What you'll need#
- You must be a registered athlete with Taft College athletics.
- You must be currently enrolled and in good standing at Taft College.
- You must be registered for 6 units or more during the work study program.
