About the role#
Pace University is hiring a Student Gym Supervisor for the New York campus. This is a paid, on-site, part-time position open to students with Work Study eligibility. You will work no more than 20 hours per week during the school term and up to 35 hours per week during breaks.
What you'll do#
- Supervise the gym facilities.
- Monitor weight lifting techniques used by gym members.
- Communicate with the Pace community.
What you'll need#
- Current Work Study eligibility (please upload your work study letter).
- A friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the Pace community.
- Physical ability to lift weights of varying amounts.
- A background or general knowledge of proper weight lifting techniques is helpful, though not required.
- Students majoring in Kinesiology are encouraged to apply.
