About the role#
This student worker position supports the Sports Medicine department and the Athletic Training Room. You will assist with daily operations to ensure the department runs smoothly for athletes and staff. This role is open to students in Kinesiology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Biomedical Sciences, or Nutrition.
What you'll do#
- Set up and tear down water, ice, and emergency equipment for practices and games.
- Clean the athletic training room and maintain athletic training equipment.
- Prepare treatments and assist with daily tasks to support athlete care.
- Manage stock and inventory for athletic training supplies.
- Follow HIPAA, FERPA, and OSHA regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift over 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- A valid driver's license.
- Reliable attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $8.00 per hour.
- Work conditions: You may work in various weather conditions. Shift times typically include 2-3 pm and 6-7 pm on weekdays, plus 8 am on Saturdays. We prefer candidates available for at least 3-4 shifts per week.
