About the role#
As a Graduate Assistant for Student Accessibility Services, you will gain practical experience in the daily operations of the university accessibility office. This two-year role focuses on maintaining a secure and student-centered testing environment while assisting the director and assistant director with accommodation training and guidance. You will work with students, faculty, and staff to support an inclusive campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate test dates, manage room reservations, and prepare testing materials.
- Monitor students during exams and report any acts of academic dishonesty.
- Maintain strict security protocols for all testing materials.
- Administer accommodation training and keep training materials up to date.
- Provide support to handlers, animals, and the greater campus community.
- Track testing data and prepare reports on center usage.
- Troubleshoot testing center equipment and ensure software is prepared for student use.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Full time status in an eligible Carroll University graduate program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience related to animal behavior is preferred.

- This position is located on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
- This is a full-time, paid position with a two-year employment term.
