About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an Electrical Engineering intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Los Angeles, California. You will work alongside our engineering teams to support the design of electrical systems for various projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
- Create electrical system drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Help with design calculations and sizing for building electrical systems.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions as part of the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- You have completed at least your second year of study.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Experience with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.

- Compensation: $24 to $27 per hour.
