About the role#
The Business Leadership Program (BLP) Internship is a 10-week paid summer assignment designed to provide hands-on experience in Risk Management. Interns work directly with experts to provide independent assessments of company risks. You will help establish risk limits, monitor performance against those limits, and ensure business activities remain controlled. This role involves challenging teams on their risk understanding across areas including credit, operational, model, compliance, and strategic risk.
What you'll do#
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control relevant business risks.
- Challenge internal teams regarding their risk management actions and understanding.
- Participate in an immersive orientation and an intern summer series to network with business leaders.
- Gain exposure to various risk functions and business units.
- Contribute to project work focused on driving innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Excellent academic record with a minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for 10 consecutive weeks between June and August 2026.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within collaborative teams.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
