BLP Intern - Audit

About the role#

The Business Leadership Program (BLP) Internship is a 10-week paid summer assignment designed to provide hands-on experience within the Internal Audit function. Interns work alongside industry experts on project work that contributes to the business. The program includes an immersive orientation, networking opportunities through the Intern Summer Series, and ongoing mentorship.

What you'll do#

• Perform audit and testing tasks, including design, planning, field work, execution, and reporting.
• Conduct ongoing business monitoring to stay informed on emerging topics and trends.
• Perform industry research regarding regulatory expectations, red flags, and upcoming trends.
• Participate in formal training sessions covering compliance and technical audit procedures.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Internal Audit, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• A minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for learning.
• Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
• High integrity and a commitment to quality.

Location & details#

• Term: Summer 2027 (10 consecutive weeks, June – August).
• Location: Stamford Hub, Connecticut.
• Modality: On-site.
• Commitment: Minimum 40 hours per week.
• Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship is not provided. Offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen, and the ability to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
