About the role#
Synchrony is hiring interns for the UConn Stamford Digital Technology Center for the Winter 2027 term. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work on technical and strategic projects while developing professional skills. You will contribute to the financial technology industry by participating in team projects and supporting various technical functions.
What you'll do#
- Influence and collaborate to create new skills and actions.
- Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams.
- Attend Agile sprints, including planning sessions, daily standups, backlog grooming, and reviews.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
- US work authorization at the time of application (sponsorship is not provided).
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test, background investigation, and fingerprinting.
- Ability to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- Relevant technical or development experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Stamford, Connecticut.
- Modality: On-site and hybrid options available.
- Schedule: 5 to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required based on project needs.
- Compensation: $24.00 to $33.50 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.
