About the role#
Synchrony is looking for Technology interns to join us for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with our Innovation Station and subject matter experts to advance our internal capabilities in artificial intelligence, data science, and other emerging technology areas. This role focuses on creating long-term value for our customers through project-based work.
What you'll do#
- Deliver projects for business stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Conduct market and technology research.
- Perform big data analytics and create data visualizations.
- Build proof-of-concepts and contribute to software development.
- Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be a full-time student at Syracuse University with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proven analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methods.
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Work modality is remote or hybrid. You will need to commute to your nearest hub for team meetings, training, and culture events.
