BLP Intern - Credit

About the role#

The Business Leadership Program (BLP) Internship is a 10-week paid summer assignment designed to provide hands-on experience in analytics and credit strategy. Interns contribute to project work that supports business objectives, with opportunities to network with leadership and work alongside experts in the field. This role offers exposure to the strategy, operations, and growth of the business.

What you'll do#

• Learn the process of fairly and responsibly extending credit, including underwriting, loan portfolio management, and fraud mitigation.
• Help clients achieve the right balance of growth and loss mitigation.
• Use advanced analytics techniques to develop and implement strategies that drive business decisions.
• Understand the entire account credit lifecycle and the impact of credit performance on the Profit & Loss statement.
• Work with sophisticated probabilistic models and maintain relationships with Credit Bureaus and scoring vendors.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a relevant major.
• Minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for 10 consecutive weeks (June – August).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Process-oriented mindset, critical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
