About the role#
The Data and Analytics Operations group is seeking an Associate Support Engineer for a Winter 2027 co-op term. This role involves contributing to the AI Incubator team strategy. You will work in a collaborative environment where you are expected to operate with full support but minimal supervision.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the AI Incubator team strategy.
- Work with GenAI, LLMs, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Quick.
- Manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks with team support.
- Conduct deep dives to understand complex systems and anticipate problems.
- Present findings to managers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Collaborate with various internal teams across the organization.
- Provide creative and reliable solutions to technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a graduation date of April 2027 or later.
- Experience with cloud technology and DevOps tools including Bitbucket and Ansible.
- Experience with ETL and data transformation tools.
- Knowledge of SQL servers and Unix/Linux command-line operations.
- Theoretical or academic familiarity with Python and R.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
