About the role#
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / Platform Infrastructure Engineer Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how large-scale systems are built, deployed, and maintained. You will work with experienced engineers to support infrastructure, improve reliability, and contribute to automation and tooling efforts.
What you'll do#
- Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure systems using Kubernetes and AWS.
- Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot production and staging issues.
- Contribute to observability by working with tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer workflows with scripts.
- Participate in on-call shadowing and incident reviews.
- Identify bottlenecks to improve system performance and scalability.
- Create documentation and maintain operational runbooks.
- Experiment with AI and automation tools to improve engineering productivity.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Linux, and networking.
- Familiarity with a programming language such as Golang or Python.
- Understanding of database concepts like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language models.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- This is a remote position based in Colombia.
- The role is full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a monthly salary of 2.800.000 COP.
- The term is rolling.
