About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will report to the Team Leader of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Technology. Your work supports the design, build, and operation of Sun Life offices through data maintenance and software support.
What you'll do#
- Manage and update AutoCAD drawings and the IWMS tool to reflect physical workspace changes.
- Perform poly-lining for area measurements according to BOMA standards.
- Prepare build files for the workstation booking system using AutoCAD and Excel.
- Create PDF plans and AutoCAD files to fulfill client requests.
- Handle space management, group membership updates, data corrections, and system troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in planning and ideation sessions.
- Develop manuals, help documents, and operating procedures.
- Assist with technology systems testing and generate custom Excel reports.
What you'll need#
- Graduation date of August 2026 or later.
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and Word.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Modality: This role is available on-site, remote, or hybrid. Remote work must be performed within the province of Ontario.
- Travel: Some travel within the GTA and Waterloo may be required.
