About the role#
As a Student Data Analyst, you will work with experienced analysts and business partners to turn data into insights. You will perform data cleansing and quality assessments, build reports, and uncover trends to support business decisions. This role is a full-time, paid summer placement running from May to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gather and structure data.
- Create reports.
- Perform trend analysis and make recommendations.
- Scrutinize data using analytical tools and programming languages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in business, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, computer science, data science, or a related field.
- Registration or enrollment in a post-secondary institution for the fall of 2027.
- Working knowledge of data manipulation, data management, and analytical tools.
- Ability to gather, structure, analyze, and interpret data.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a drive to learn.
- Third-year or more advanced students are preferred.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence is preferred.
- Experience with programming languages or tools such as SQL, Python, or R is preferred.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
